Welcome to our Castle Creek Outfitters Rocky Mountain Mule Deer and Northwestern Whitetail Deer hunting page. We cater to the hardcore Trophy deer hunter. All of our hunts are fairchase, for free ranging animals, no high fences. Below is our information on the mule deer and whitetail deer hunts that we offer.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN MULE DEER

We specialize in fully guided Trophy Rocky Mountain Mule Deer hunts. We horseback hunt from our high country tent camps. Meals are served by our cooks in the base camps and by the guides in our spike camps. Our camps are located in our state licensed Idaho National Forest hunting area's. This is some of the most rugged and remote country in the lower 48 states. As a result of this rugged country our mule deer grow to Trophy size and receive little to no hunting pressure. The country we hunt can only be accessed by horseback. We manage our hunting area's. We limit the number of deer hunters we take each season. Less hunters means more and bigger deer for you! We only harvest mature mule deer bucks scoring 155 class or bigger. As a result of this, all bucks we harvest will make the SCI record book.

We suggest that all hunters hold out for as big a buck as they want and we will do our best at getting it for you. We have harvested a lot of bucks in the 160 to 180 class, plus some up to the 200 class over the last 35 plus years. Smaller bucks are passed on. This management works and produces Trophy class deer for our hunter's each year. We will work hard to get you your dream buck. It is our only goal to make your hunt successful and harvest your trophy deer. This is our only job. We know the country and know how to locate and harvest trophy deer in our rugged country.

Our 35 plus years in the business backs this up. We are proven time tested outfitters and guides. We don't write short stories about every deer we kill to convince you to hunt with us. The time tested facts are here, it's your choice. You wouldn't want to hunt with any less. Our prices are more than most outfitters charge, but every one knows you get what you pay for. NORTHWESTERN WHITETAIL DEER

Castle Creek Outfitters offers Trophy Northwestern Whitetail Deer hunts on private land in Eastern Idaho. All of our hunts are fairchase for free ranging animals with no high fences. Our Lemhi river ranch is the base of operation where hunters are lodged and fed meals on these Trophy hunts. We hunt the river bottom's and hay fields. Hunting is done in the morning and evening's with hunters usually returning to the ranch for lunch. Hunt methods are spot and stalk, ground blinds and tree stands.

Located in Central Eastern Idaho, our average bucks taken are in the 140 -- 160 class with some up to the 170 class also taken. We manage these hunting area's. We limit the number of hunters we take on our hunts. We only harvest 140 class whitetail deer or better. So all bucks will make the SCI record book. No small bucks are taken. This insures we have a great supply of Trophy bucks coming up each year.

We have taken many celebrities and filmed many TV shows such as Realtree Outdoors, Mossy Oaks Hunting the Country, Remington Country, Babe Winkleman's Outdoor Secrets and Jay Gregory's The Wild Outdoors on these popular Idaho deer hunts. September archery, November and December rut short range weapon, Scoped in line muzzleloaders, shotgun and archery hunts are offered for the serious whitetail hunter. 5. We only harvest minimum 150 class mule deer and 140 class whitetail deer.
6. All deer harvested will make the SCI Record book.
7. We are in to the Quality of the hunt, not quantity of hunters we take.
8. We know the country we hunt.
9. We know how to find and harvest Trophy deer. Our 35 years plus in the business backs this up.
10. Our only goal is for you to harvest a Trophy deer.
